VP of Marketing
MACKENZIE MADDEN uses her background in community capacity building and public relations to enhance communications planning and project execution. She earned a reputation for bridge-building and meaningful community engagement as the Associate Director of the Westside Communities Alliance based at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
Mackenzie has gained valuable experience working on public health and environmental initiatives through fellowships and other roles at the National Center for Health at the Center for Disease Control, Keep Georgia Beautiful, and the Oconee River Land Trust. While working at Georgia Tech, she became known for her strengths associated with creating mutually beneficial service learning opportunities for non-profits and civic associations; leading and organizing public think tanks; conceptualizing and visualizing quantitative and qualitative data; and fostering a range of organizational relationships.
Mackenzie earned a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Georgia Tech. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising as well as a Certificate of Environmental Ethics from the University of Georgia. She enjoys international travel and teaching fitness classes in her free time.
